Quality windows elevate the value of a space.
Windows incorporating Corning’s advanced Enliten® Glass are lightweight, allowing for easier and smoother opening and closing.
In addition, it facilitates on-site installation work and further reduces the overall load of the building.
Corning’s advanced window glass, Corning® Enliten™ Glass, provides superior thermal insulation performance compared to conventional Low-E Triple Insulated Glass
Improving the thermal insulation performance of windows is a very important factor. According to the Architectural Institute of Korea, as much as 45% of heating and cooling energy in residential buildings is lost through windows.*
The key to superior insulation performance lies in the thickness of the argon gas air layer.
When Corning Enliten® Glass, with a thickness of only 0.5 mm, is used as the intermediate pane, the argon gas air layer increases by up to 14.3% due to the reduced glass thickness.
As a result, thermal insulation performance is improved by up to 10%, allowing indoor temperatures to be maintained more effectively.
